CourseHub pulls course metadata from Coursera’s public catalog, then applies the ROI formula:
ROI = (completion_rate × salary_lift × baseline_salary − course_price − time_cost) / total_investment × 100%
Confidence levels are assigned based on:
- High: Course has published completion rate statistics and verified salary data
- Medium: Course has estimated completion rate or industry-sourced salary data
- Low: Course has estimated metrics based on similar courses
